General

What is CPA Marketing?
Neverblue operates on a Cost-per-Action (CPA) model in which payment is based solely on qualifying actions such as sales or registrations. It is an online advertising model where the advertiser only pays for a specified action linked to the advertisement.

Advertisers do not pay up front for advertisement, instead they only pay when a lead or sale is generated. Affiliates receive commission when the lead or sale is generated from the ad they are running.
What is an Affiliate?
An affiliate, also known as a publisher, is any owner of online media where an advertisement can be placed and viewed by consumers. They can be website owners, newsletter publishers, search engine marketers etc.
What is an Advertiser?
An advertiser, also known as a merchant, is a company that sells a product or service online. Affiliates promote an advertiser's product or service by placing the advertisement on their own websites, e-mail campaigns and search listings in exchange for a commission.
How does Neverblue fit in with Advertisers and Affiliates?
Neverblue connects Affiliates with Advertisers via our proprietary affiliate platform. Advertisers post ads on the network and the affiliates take the ads they want to promote. Neverblue's affiliate network gives advertisers enhanced exposure and affiliates higher payouts.
What is Performance Marketing?
Performance marketing is essentially low risk marketing, meaning you only pay when a lead or sale is generated. Unlike traditional marketing where you pay for an advertisement up front, advertisers only pay when they get positive results.

Affiliate Approval

Do we accept International affiliates?
Yes, we welcome affiliates located across the globe. However, we require all affiliates to speak adequate English.
Do we accept non-English speaking affiliates?
We do not accept non-English speaking affiliates at this time. We require that all partners can communicate with us in English when contacted by a Neverblue representative. Currently our offices are located in Western Canada and thus we do all business communications in English only.
Do we accept non-English sites?
The primary site you submit on your application must be in English. We review all sites as a part of our affiliate application approval process and require that all site content be interpreted in English.
Do we work with international affiliates who have US targeted sites in English?
Yes! If you have an English site and can answer questions about it during the phone verification portion of your affiliate application review process, you are much more likely to be approved.
Is phone verification of an application necessary or can it be done using Instant Messenger (AIM, MSN, Yahoo) / ICQ / Skype / Email?
Phone verification is a mandatory part of our affiliate approval process. No other means of verification will be considered. However, following approval if you prefer to communicate using IM, Email or any other means, we can generally accommodate that request. We do require that your account contains an updated phone number at all times.
Will I be approved if I don't have a website?
If you can provide an acceptable means of promoting our ads during the phone verification portion of your application approval process, you will be still be considered.
What are the various reasons for which Neverblue may deny an affiliate from joining the network?
The main reasons for which we deny affiliate applications are:
  • Failure to successfully contact an affiliate during the phone verification portion of our application approval process - Affiliates who submit an inaccurate or incomplete phone number in their application will be declined. Please submit the country code, area code and full phone number in your application. Affiliates who do not answer our verification phone calls and fail to call or email back within a given time period following our initial call or email will also be declined
  • Unapproved site content - We do not accept sites with adult, gambling, or any other questionable content
  • Failure to communicate effectively - We require all publishers to display a conversational level of English during the phone verification portion of our application approval process. If publishers are unable to answer our questions sufficiently during this process their application will be denied
  • Inaccurate application information - We cross reference application information and if it is determined that an affiliate has submitted a false name, phone number, address or site, they will be denied

Payment

What is the default payment method?
The default method of payment is by cheque sent by mail.
When/how often will I get paid?
Affiliate payments are sent on a Net 15 schedule. For example, revenue that you earned in January would be sent to you on February 15.
Do we pay using PayPal and/or wire transfers/direct transfers?
Neverblue's default payment method is cheque; however, affiliates who meet certain requirements can also be paid via PayPal or wire transfer.
Do you send cheques to all countries / internationally?
Yes we send cheques to affiliates in whichever country they are located.
How long will my cheque take to reach me?
The time between when payment is sent and when it is received by you is dependent on the postal system and hence will vary based on affiliate location. Generally, affiliates receive their cheques between 2 days and 2 weeks. Cheques delivered within the US and Canada will generally be received faster than those delivered to other international countries.
Can I get paid on a bi-weekly / weekly basis?
We can send payments on weekly and bi-weekly schedules. Speak to your affiliate manager or Neverblue representative for more details.
Do I get paid for clicks and / or impressions?
Neverblue is a Cost per Action (CPA) network that only pays publishers for qualified actions generated as a result of their promotion. Therefore, we do not pay publishers for clicks and / or impressions.
